"The Chimney"

A graffiti work on an advertising board in public space, started in the evening of the evacuation of the Gaza strip, August 17,2005 and continued during this period.

The work was composed of an image of red bricks sprayed by titles of an absurd word game upon them. The titles combine recycled cultural expressions, coming from the holy world, the national and consuming existence, as "Holy palace" turns to "Holy container", or "Fatherland turned to "Pawn Town" and more. In Hebrew, a twist of one letter of these expressions gives emergence to an ironic word game which gives a personal view for consensual events.

Each day another part of the "wall" was built up while more titles, exposed levels on consciousness and sobriety.
